The Christian Soul: Mindfulness

I am taking my time this week with writing. Be on the lookout maybe this week, maybe next sometime soon on Chasing Unicorns. When you read that, you will probably see a connection to this piece by a blogger I’ve only just started following today. I especially like his description of his experience, but I also relate to his call to writing and wondering if there’s space for that in a Christianity that prioritizes “doing.”

mindfulness:  noun. The practice of maintaining a nonjudgmental state of heightened or complete awareness of one’s thoughts, emotions, or experiences on a moment-to-moment basis; also : such a state of awareness.
